We are excited to announce that Bluegrass 911 Central Communications, located in Lancaster, Kentucky, has recently expanded their CAD positions by adding two additional stations with Caliber Public Safety for their Computer Aided Dispatch and mapping needs. Caliber’s enhanced next generation CAD system will allow Bluegrass 911 to provide superior consolidated dispatching services for all their agencies.
According to Director Russ Clark, “Caliber Public Safety has a very user-friendly CAD system in the remote host solution and I feel it is on the leading edge of technology to help move our state forward with NG911. We are adding two more positions to our facility. We have had great response from the company with any issues, and they have lived up to what has been requested of them and worked very closely to resolve.”
Caliber Public Safety develops the only Computer Aided Dispatch software that builds in “disconnected operations” as a standard feature, meaning that dispatchers continue to do their job, as usual, even when their system is down. Once connection is restored, the workstations and server synchronize automatically. Work continues as usual, so the focus on saving lives and property continues, uninterrupted.
Our full spectrum, dedicated GIS department ensures your map data is accurate, complete with turn-by-turn directions. The fully integrated GIS supports routing, AVL and intelligent unit and incident tracking. All of this means reduced response times for your first responders.
