Crawfordsville Fire Department Adds New Functionality

The Crawfordsville Fire Department, located in Crawfordsville, Indiana has issued a purchase order to procure an interface from Caliber’s Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) to ImageTrend EMS. The Fire Department is currently dispatched by the Montgomery County Central Communications Center, which utilizes Caliber’s CAD software. The new interface will enable the Fire Department to import data directly from CAD, thereby reducing redundant data entry and ensuring complete, valid information for each patient and incident.

The Crawfordsville Fire Department provides fire protection and emergency medical services to the City of Crawfordsville and Union Township in Montgomery County. In addition, the department provides mutual aid assistance and advanced life support intercept services to surrounding departments and communities in west central Indiana. The Crawfordsville Fire Department operates out of two fire stations and is staffed by 46 firefighters and paramedics.
