Mobile Software Solutions
Caliber's mobile software solutions deliver real-time CAD, RMS, mapping, and multi-source queries to all units in the field.
Getting the Right Information in the Right Hands
Mobile 10 provides real-time updates, multi-source queries, and the same map used in Dispatch for routing and unit visibility.
PocketCop and PocketRescue extend that awareness to smartphones and tablets for law enforcement, fire, and EMS. Crews can view calls, run queries, receive BOLOs and hazard alerts, and capture details on scene, keeping focus on the incident and the community.
InterDEx brings nationwide, real-time data sharing into every shift, surfacing prior incidents and known hazards. FirstAlert provides schools and public buildings a fast, direct path to dispatch, cutting agency response times.

Cloud-Hosted Mobile
Caliber hosts Mobile servers and databases in the Caliber Public Safety Cloud. This allows agencies to install the Mobile workstation software on local hardware. It leaves all the complicated server-side of the solution to Caliber’s cloud technicians.
Workstation updates are automatically downloaded and applied as they are released, reducing maintenance windows and IT strain. Your center benefits from FIPS 140-2 NIST-compliant encryption, compliance programs, and fully redundant power and network. As a strategic partner with Nlets since 2008, we deliver a secure and reliable environment that helps dispatchers focus on the call, not the infrastructure.

FROM CONTRACT TO GO-LIVE IN 7 MONTHS!
The Elkhart County 911 Communications Center, along with law enforcement, fire, and EMS agencies countywide, moved from contract to live operations in just seven months. The deployment included more than 290 Mobile licenses, 31 Pocket Cop licenses, and 31 Pocket Rescue licenses. This gives officers and firefighters field access to incident data, reports, and critical information from their vehicles and handheld devices.

PocketCop®
Real-Time CAD Access for Law Enforcement on Any Mobile Device
Patrol officers and command staff need critical incident details for every call. If you’re relying on radio traffic, you probably don’t have the full picture when walking into a scene.
PocketCOP solves this problem by putting interactive Caliber CAD access directly into the hands of every officer, detective, and command staff member via their iOS or Android device.
Rebuilt based on direct feedback from law enforcement professionals, the latest version of PocketCOP turns your smartphone or tablet into a fully interactive public safety tool. Whether you are a chief monitoring a major incident from headquarters or a patrol officer working without a mobile data terminal (MDT), PocketCOP gives you the situational awareness you need to take action and stay safe.
Key Capabilities and Field Benefits
- See the Full Picture: View active incidents with the complete call-taker narrative, unit assignments, and stacked calls. You can pull up prior incident history at any address.
- Stay Informed: Receive and view important agency notices and announcements directly in the app.
- Take Action Off the Radio: Create self-initiated incidents, such as traffic stops, directly from your device. You can also self-dispatch to active calls and update your status (en route, on scene, cleared) in real time. Dispatch sees these updates immediately without a single radio transmission.
- Run CJIS Queries Anywhere: Execute CJIS name, vehicle, and OLN queries directly from your phone. You get the same query capability you rely on from an MDT, complete with a full audit trail.
- Communicate Directly: Send user-to-user messages to other units or dispatch through the built-in chat function to coordinate quietly and keep radio channels clear for emergencies.
- Navigate with Confidence: View incidents on a built-in map with routing and street-level views.
- Capture Field Data Fast: Add persons, vehicles, and media directly to incidents from your device. You can also use barcode scanning for better field data capture.
PocketRescue™
Real-Time CAD Access for Fire and EMS on Any Mobile Device
Firefighters, paramedics, and incident commanders need immediate, accurate information. Waiting for radio updates or lacking situational awareness can delay critical care and complicate scene management.
PocketRescue provides a direct connection to Caliber CAD from any iOS or Android device. Purpose-built for fire and EMS operations, PocketRescue gives your personnel the field tools they need to make informed decisions and stay accountable.
PocketRescue ensures that everyone from the engine crew to the dispatch center is looking at the same data. It allows leadership to monitor major incidents without pulling a busy dispatcher away from their duties, and it gives first responders the details they need before they arrive on scene.
Key Capabilities and Field Benefits:
- Access Complete Call Details: Read the full call-taker narrative, view stacked calls, and check prior incident history before arriving on scene. This ensures your team understands the full scope of the medical or fire emergency.
- Manage Status Off the Radio: Self-dispatch to major incidents and update your status (en route, on scene, cleared) directly from your device. This significantly reduces radio congestion during complex, multi-unit responses.
- Coordinate Your Team: Send secure messages to other responding units or dispatchers through the built-in chat function to share critical updates silently.
- Route Directly to the Scene: Use integrated mapping and street-level views to find the fastest route to the incident location.
- Log Critical Updates: Add notes, remarks, and media directly to the incident record from the field, ensuring the official record is accurate and up to date.
- Stay Informed: Receive agency notices and announcements instantly on your device.
InterDEx™
Caliber’s Nationwide, Real-Time Data Sharing Network
InterDEx is different because it does not require agencies to send their data to a 3rd party data warehouse. All the data stays in the agency’s current systems and remains under their complete control. Designed to be fully integrated with Caliber’s full suite of public safety applications, all products have the added benefit of access to the InterDEx data.
- Share situational awareness information across multiple agencies through the InterDEx network.
- Automated queries of multiple trusted public safety data sources naturally occur within RMS without additional actions by users or separate logins.
- Smart Technologies to extend your knowledge network.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the mobile software reduce paperwork and redundant data entry for officers in the field?
Patrol officers often lose valuable shift time retyping the same information into different systems. Our mobile solutions solve this by integrating directly with your Computer-Aided Dispatch and Records Management System. When a dispatcher enters incident details, that data automatically populates the relevant fields in your mobile application and RMS. To further accelerate report completion, the system includes customizable templates and AI-generated narrative drafts. This eliminates redundant data entry, reduces the potential for errors, and gets your personnel back into the community faster.
How user-friendly is the software for deputies and detectives in the field?
Complex software can become a burden during a high-stress response. We prioritize a clean, intuitive interface that requires minimal training. Whether accessed from a patrol vehicle or a handheld mobile device, personnel can easily complete reports and pull up case information directly from the field. Our goal is to make the technology a practical asset that supports your team's daily operations, rather than a frustrating obstacle.
Does the mobile software include integrated mapping and routing?
Yes. Responding to an unfamiliar location can delay critical response times. Our software features fully integrated mapping to provide complete situational awareness. Dispatchers and field units can visualize incident locations, track real-time unit locations via Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL), and generate turn-by-turn routing for the fastest response. The map is built directly into the core interface, ensuring all geographic data is available at a glance without switching applications.
How does information sync between dispatch and mobile units?
In a fast-moving incident, everyone needs to be looking at the same information. Our mobile software is fully integrated with both CAD and RMS through secure, bi-directional standard interfaces (REST APIs). This means updates made in the field, such as incident status, officer location, or report progress, are synchronized in real time with central servers. Whether a user is at a dispatch console or on a mobile device in the field, they are always working from the most up-to-date information.
