Increased Data Sharing in Berrien County MI

Two more agencies in Berrien County, Michigan have decided to switch to the TIMS RMS program, adding to the more than a dozen agencies already using the police reporting software. The addition of these agencies enhances the data sharing capabilities between the other police departments utilizing TIMS in the County. Berrien County Sheriff’s Department has over 70 sworn officers and Niles Police Department has 22 sworn.

New functionality in the latest release of TIMS will allow full police reports to be shared between select agencies, taking data sharing to a whole new level for them. The two agencies will also benefit from the addition of the electronic Officer Daily module, replacing handwritten paper dailies and manual calculation of stats.

Berrien County Undersheriff Chuck Heit is excited to be switching to TIMS and joining most of the other agencies in the County already using it. The simplicity of design helps users be more productive, and the reputation of great customer support and service is also something he’s looking forward to.
