Caliber Public Safety SaaS Security
Providing security for the information entered into Caliber’s Internet Applications is of paramount importance to Caliber. We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to, or unauthorized alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your data. We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) FIPS140-2 compliant encryption to encrypt the transmission of data with Caliber hosted systems. We operate in compliance with the FBI CJIS Security Policy.
By using the services, you authorize the company to:
- disclose the fact that you are a user
- maintain possession (but not ownership) of your customer data on this network, servers, and storage devices
- aggregate your customer data with that of other customers.
Caliber Public Safety SaaS Availability
Caliber’s SaaS platform is hosted by Nlets, the International Justice and Public Safety Network, and has been designed with N+1 redundancy across all platform components so that no single point of failure exists. All servers are virtualized to allow for rapid recovery from server failures. The Nlets data center is designed to meet the standards of a critical infrastructure services data center with fully redundant power, network, and environmental controls. Caliber is committed to maintaining a highly available platform and routinely exceeds 99.99% uptime for its SaaS operations.
