We are excited to announce that Marshall County KY 911 has recently approved the migration back to Caliber Public Safety for their Computer Aided Dispatch and mapping needs. Caliber’s enhanced next generation CAD system will allow Marshall County KY 911 to provide superior consolidated dispatching services for Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, Benton Police Department, and Calvert City Police Department. Along with utilizing Caliber’s CAD system, the three agencies have opted to implement Caliber’s fully integrated next generation Mobile Solution as well.
Caliber Public Safety develops the only Computer Aided Dispatch software that builds in “disconnected operations” as a standard feature, meaning that dispatchers continue to do their job, as usual, even when their system is down. Once connection is restored, the workstations and server synchronize automatically. Work continues as usual, so the focus on saving lives and property continues, uninterrupted.
Caliber’s Mobile solution provides a common platform for all disciplines, placing real-time incident data into the users hands via smartphones, tablets and other devices. The powerful software is built for immediate CIS data query returns, meaning that actionable, parsed information from hundreds of agencies and resources is available to empower the user at the point of contact. And, due to built-in advanced capabilities, Caliber Mobile keeps working on the data query behind the scenes, automatically generating a secondary query that brings even more pertinent data to the decision-making process for the first responder.
